As Mystic Falls mourns one icon, another icon is brought back to life and looking for answers! But she gets distracted by all the hot Stelena breakup drama she missed. Rebekah’s timing could not be more perfect, as tensions are at their highest following Caroline snitching on Elena and Damon having sex. No one has fun at the school - Tyler has to turn, Shane dies (temporarily), and April nearly dies. Kol returns and has a fun day of torture shattered by the reveal that this is all for Silas, who he tells us is super scary. Meanwhile, Damon attempts to train Jeremy (and by extension, Matt) at the lake house, but Klaus is feeling a little frustrated by the pacing of the training. We end the episode with a Delena confession, a Stebekah hookup, and a whole bunch of new vampires!
