It’s Thanksgiving in Mystic Falls and in the Prison World! Caroline throws an eventful Friendsgiving at Whitmore, where we find out just how Kai, Jo, Liv, and Luke are connected. Meanwhile, Alaric, Damon, and Stefan head to Portland to look for the ascendant, and end up learning some information of their own. Over in the Prison World, Kai treats Bonnie to a thanksgiving dinner and promises to let her never see him again. But we also see a number of flashbacks that show us that we should definitely not trust Kai. Steroline Stans get crumbs, as usual.
