Aliou Gambrel (a senior) and Kevin Kwong (a graduate student) have spent the last few years learning languages in multiple modalities: in person with other students, connecting individually over Zoom, and through the hybrid video-linked classrooms of Cornell, Yale, and Columbia’s Shared Course Initiative.
