চীনের উহান থেকে দ্রুত ছড়িয়ে পড়ছে নতুন ধরনের ভাইরাস করোনাভাইরাস। চীনা কর্তৃপক্ষ সতর্ক করে বলেছে যে, নতুন এই ভাইরাসটি আরও শক্তিশালী হচ্ছে এবং দ্রুত ছড়িয়ে পড়ছে। এর সংক্রমণের সংখ্যাও বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে। এতে আক্রান্ত হয়ে এ পর্যন্ত ৫৬ জনের মৃত্যুর খবর পাওয়া গেছে।

Tens of thousands more migrants can now officially call themselves Australians after taking the pledge at citizenship ceremonies held around the country on Sunday. But an increasing number of people are either unable or unwilling to take up the privilege.

২৬ জানুয়ারি রবিবার হাজার হাজার লোক অস্ট্রেলিয়ান নাগরিক হওয়ার শপথ নিলেন। তবে, নাগকিত্ব গ্রহণ করতে পারেন নি কিংবা গ্রহণ করতে চান না এ রকম লোকের সংখ্যা বাড়ছে।

Tax agent Ash Khondkar spoke to SBS Bangla on how bushfire affected people can get tax assistance.

Ekushe Academy Australia is going to hold Ekhushe Book Fair 2020 at Ashfield Park in Sydney on 9 February. Its president Dr Swapan Paul spoke to SBS Bangla.

Many have been affected by the recent bushfire in Australia. In this devastating bushfire, people lost their relatives, or lost their place of residence or business. The Aussies are helping what they can to turn them around again. The members of the Bangladeshi community in the state of Victoria are also no exception. In this regard, the Bangladesh Disaster Release Fund organized a charity event to raise money for the bushfire victims. Mr Mahbub on behlf of the organization speaks to SBS Bangla .  

অস্ট্রেলিয়ার সাম্প্রতিক বুশফায়ারে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছেন অনেকে। এই বিধ্বংসী বুশফায়ারে কেউ হারিয়েছেন স্বজন, কেউবা হারিয়েছেন তাদের বাড়িঘর কিংবা ব্যবসা প্রতিষ্ঠান। অস্ট্রেলিয়ানরা যে যা পারছেন সাহায্য করছেন তাদেরকে আবারো ঘুরে দাঁড়াতে। ভিক্টোরিয়া রাজ্যের বাংলাদেশী কমুনিটির সদস্যরাও সামিল হয়েছেন এই উদ্যোগে। এই লক্ষে বাংলাদেশ ডিজাস্টার রিলিফ ফান্ড সংগঠনটির সার্বিক তত্ত্বাবধানে বাংলাদেশী সামাজিক, সাংস্কৃতিক এবং পেশাজীবী সংগঠনগুলোর সহযোগিতায় আয়োজন করেছে একটি চ্যারিটি ইভেন্টের। এই ইভেন্টের পক্ষ থেকে সংগঠনের প্রেসিডেন্ট মাহবুব চৌধুরী এসবিএস বাংলাকে  জানাচ্ছেন তাদের কমর্সূচি সম্পর্কে।
