Bangla New Year festival "Boishakhi Mela 2019" was arranged in Dandenong, Melbourne on Sunday, 28 May 2019. It was organised by the Australian-Bangladesh Association (ABA) Victoria.

কমিউনিটিতে অবদান রাখার কারণে এ বছর মেলবোর্নের ডেনডিনঙের বৈশাখী মেলায় ছয় জন বাংলাভাষীকে সম্মাননা প্রদান করা হয়েছে। তাদের মধ্য থেকে ড. আজিজ রহমান এবং আয়োজকদের দু’জন জনাব জালাল আহমদ কুমু ও শামসুল আরেফিন বিপুল কথা বলেছেন এসবিএস বাংলার সঙ্গে।

Library and information science is very important to build a literate society. Unlike developed countries, Bangladesh is far behind in overcoming the professional barriers of library and information science jobs.
