The 2019 Australian federal election is just around the corner when we will elect members of the 46th Parliament of Australia. So how do elections determine our next government?

Treasurer Josh Frydenberg says this Budget delivers on the promises made in previous Coalition Budgets, taking the country's accounts back into positive territory and putting Australia back on track. However, people are not optimistic like him. Dr Sharif Rasel from Monash University raised some concerns when he discussed with SBS Bangla on this proposed pre-election Budget.

Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has handed down a pre-election budget for the Coalition government with a budget surplus of 7.1 billion dollars for 2019/20. Senior Lecturer Khorshed Chowdhury from the University of Wollongong talked to SBS Bangla about this budget.
