Federal government's announcement that 457 visas for temporary foreign workers will be scrapped has received a mixed bag of reactions, from employers welcoming the decision , Unions raising concerns to Indian government's cautionary statement.

Many families have to leave their children unsupervised for a period of time either after school hours or during school holidays. When it comes to child supervision parents have a legal obligation under Australian law but the laws are not very clear on age limits or amount of time a child can be left unattended. Cord blood banking involves collecting blood left in your newborn's umbilical cord and placenta and storing it for future medical use. Cord blood contains potentially lifesaving cells called stem cells. (The stem cells in cord blood are different from embryonic stem cells.) Dr. Boski Shah shared the details with Harita Mehta
