The season starts tomorrow at home against well-known Florida Gulf Coast. We talk to Coach Ford about his approach to the media good or bad and how his history with Kentucky shaped his public profile.

We also talk about what winning the A10 tournament last year did for the team for this season. Have they been able to capitalize on that attention? Coach Ford says they're still in "building mode" in year four of his coaching staff plus they've had to fill the roles of those players lost. What is happening with Javon Bess in the NBA?

The pre-season game against Kentucky Wesleyan last week wasn't necessarily what the team expected but they pulled away at the end. We talk about Hasahn French and those players expected to make news this year. Also, Yuri Collins is sure to make waves as a player and teammate. Coach Ford calls him a "gritty defender".

Ben Frederickson, of the Post Dispatch, says the combination of location, property tax compromise and inclusion of practice fields makes this stadium plan a win for St. Louis. But can they get it ready in time for the 2022 deadline?

What’s the word on the front office and coach for the team? Dan Flynn? Ben says he may not be a lock to run the club like some think.

How do the blues do without Tarasenko? Could he be back for playoffs? Ben says he can’t be replaced but each team member will have to do more to fill the hole. They do get some salary cap relief since it’s a long term injury.

No Mizzou football this weekend but we talk about Barry Odom’s job security. Is he on the hot seat? Does the season turn around or will fans taper off as the wins do?

We talk to Jerry Kerr, President and Co-Founder, of the non-profit about why his group does what it does and how. We also talk about the organization's start in the aftermath of 9/11. Hear some inspiring stories about those that his group has helped and about the challenges the non-profit faces in raising funds to keep up with injuries sustained in Afghanistan, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. With each chair/scooter costing up to $16,000, the group tries to meet just a small percentage of the need each year.
