Scott Lawrie is an art lover, writer, entrepreneur and the owner and director of the Scott Lawrie Gallery in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.

Scott Lawrie Gallery aims to connect hearts and minds when it comes to encountering and experiencing contemporary art. They proudly show a range of emerging, mid-career and Internationally-renowned artists from around the world, with a focus on New Zealand, Australia, and the wider Moana region.

In this episode Scott talks about his life, his passions, how he got to be the director and owner of an art gallery, his latest show and what he loves most about what he does. 

I ask him the tough questions that I'm sure every artist would like to know. From whether he thinks a dealer gallery is the holy grail for every artist and how to approach a gallery to dealing with rejection and NFTs.
