Scott grew up on a farm in Idaho and quickly decided that wasn't the life for him.  He left home at an early age and worked in Idaho and Montana in his teens before heading to Nevada. The buckaroo lifestyle took ahold, but so did the drinking.  Solitude also found its way to him and Scott found that being  alone was the answer to his anxiety that came from being around people.  After a bad horse wreck, that left him in a coma, Scott went on the journey of self discovery.   He realized how his many  injuries had taken their toll.  He openly shares his journey with drinking and his relationship with God and religion.

Scott is as honest and hard working as they come.  He is the cowboss at the historic C Punch ranch, which is the largest ranch, in Nevada,  inside one fence, 1,000,000 acres with no cross fences.

Scott and his wife, Andrea are the founders of the Buckaroo Traditions Gathering Big loop roping. Their event will be this Nov. 17-19 in Winnemucca, NV.   For more info check www.btgathering.com
