N. Riley Heagerty has spent the past thirty years doing the indispensable work of researching and documenting the great Physical Mediums of Historic Spiritualism, from the mid-1800s to about 1960. He has published a number of very good books, including The French Revelation about the independent voice medium Emily French; Portraits from Beyond about the Bangs Sisters; The Direct Voice about the medium Elizabeth Blake; and Spectral Evidence Volumes I and II, which are compilations of mind-blowing mediumistic events during the heyday of English Spiritualism. Riley has also sat with most of the current internationally known physical mediums, and his wife Caroline is a practicing Clairvoyant medium in her own right. Now Spectral Evidence Volume III is out, and Riley is with us in fine form to talk about that book.

Our guest this week is Craig Weiler, who is with us for the third time. Craig is a parapsychology journalist, a frequent speaker, and the host of the popular blog “The Weiler Psi,” on the science of parapsychology, skepticism, and the psychics. Craig is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley, and he runs a small construction business. He began his spiritual path during the New Age movement, teaching and practicing psychic healing. He says that he doesn’t follow any particular teachings, but he explores a very westernized mixture of science and spirituality. And he is on the social media site Quora, where he answers questions on a wide range of topics and administers a parapsychology space with over 13,000 followers. Craig leads us through a fascinating discussion of a newly-published paper, the essence of which is that, just as magicians long have maintained, if you don’t believe in something, it literally is not going to happen for you. Craig can be reached through paranormaldailynews.com.

Rosanne Groover Norris would rather NOT have been one of the stars of Sandra Champlain’s and Sonia Rinaldi’s wonderful new movie, Rinaldi! But her son, Lee, is now in spirit, and her spotting him in Sandra’s photos transmitted from the station in the afterlife was of course an exciting moment for Rosanne! She is the mother of five children, with one now in spirit, and also a grandmother of six, and she considers them all to be her best accomplishment in life. In January of 2018, Rosanne’s middle child, a thirty-year-old son named Lee, succumbed to an accidental carbon monoxide poisoning in his home along with his dog, Buddy. This devastating event left Rosanne in despair, and she was left to figure out her new reality for herself. She read books and listened to podcasts, and she was ultimately led to Helping Parents Heal, where she now is an affiliate leader and a caring listener.

Kelley Glover is a published scholar and doctoral research assistant at Texas State University, where she is working on her PhD in School Improvement. She has music education degrees from Howard University and the Eastman School of Music, and she is the creator of a culturally responsive music education cartoon and music game app called, “U BETTER Sing! which was featured on the PBS show, “Blackademics,” where she discussed how racism affects music education and its effect on students of color. Her company’s products were also sent overseas to work with young Nigerian girls affected by the Boko Haram crisis, in an initiative to educate and heal students through music. I should add that Kelley and I also have written a book together called The Fun of Living Together – We Must Learn to Live Together as Brothers or Perish Together as Fools, and of course that’s a quote from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We have never promoted the book in all the current chaos in this country, but it will be a part of Seek Reality Online, and we plan to work with it there.
