Paula Lenz’s brother died in an auto accident in the fall of 1983, and in the aftermath of his death she had a series of extraordinary experiences. She finally wrote about them in her 2017 book, Driving Into Infinity – Living With My Brother’s Spirit. Even thirty years later, her grief for him is palpable. But so is her joy! As the veil between worlds continues to thin, more and more people are maintaining close relationships even long after loved ones die. Ward Barcafer’s wife of 33 years died in 2016, and she soon began to communicate with him in full sentences and in amazing detail. The result has been a wonderful and thoughtful account of the afterlife, all of which is perfectly consistent with afterlife evidence that neither Ward nor Sue had known anything about before she arrived there. Sue’s communications are wonderful affirmations that life is indeed eternal, and they show us that life gets even better after we transition! You can reach Ward through www.signsfromsue.com or at [email protected]

Judi Miller was a happily married financial executive. Her co-workers had no idea that she was living in terror of the night, and of the possibility of sexual assault. Her fears were making her life a nightmare, even though there was nothing in her background that would warrant them. In her new book, Perfect: A Path to Love, Forgiveness and Transformation, Judi explains how she discovered the roots of her fears, and then she conquered them. Amazingly, she was guided to take the right steps with the right people, in the right order, to right a wrong that had been committed before her birth. Her book reads like a good novel with an almost unbelievable twist. Judi’s website is JudiMiller.net.

Dr. Jeff Spiess has spent his medical career helping dying people, first as an oncologist and then as a hospice physician. He has observed, through extensive clinical experience and conversations with the dying and their loved ones, the added burden of distress that comes from the American tendency to avoid facing death as inevitable, and he has learned what the dying need to do in order to have the best possible death. To share this information, he wrote an indispensable handbook called Dying with Ease: A Compassionate Guide for Making Wiser End-of-Life Decision

Deanna Drinkar’s life-history of spiritual seeking feels universal. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – the LDS church, also known as the Mormons – she earned a degree in history from Brigham Young University, and then she worked in her church’s Family History and Genealogical department for more than twenty years. Deanna’s devotion to her faith was challenged following the death of her father in 2013, when he began to send her messages. She felt led by him into afterlife studies and NDE research. Today she tells us what Mormons believe about death and the afterlife, and how her wonderful newfound knowledge fits into her still-religious life. —
