When is the last time you compared yourself to someone else? Like, maaaaybe five minutes ago? Whether it’s the highlight reel of social media, photoshopped magazine covers, or CGI-enhanced actors in superhero movies, we’re bombarded with messages of perfection.

Kristen Gingrich (aka @notyouraveragethrpst) drops in to chat about the problems of losing yourself in comparison. Mindful comparison can be helpful, but it can be emotionally exhausting to hold yourself to impossible standards.

Shifting her perspective from “what I don’t have” to “what I DO have” has helped Kristen deal with that negative voice in her mind (hers is named Frank BTW).
