I've been listening to Deepak Chopra's 21 Days of Abundance Meditation Series on Spotify and it has been fascinating. He weaves in the 7 spiritual laws of success which have been extremely motivating and enlightening for me. In today's episode, I offer some wisdom I've gained so far from this series. I think once you listen, you'll walk away feeling more encouraged and inspired about how to approach life and the infinite possibilities that await you in the future.
There's an old Cherokee legend that tells of the battle between the good wolf and the bad wolf that happens inside all of us. On today's episode, I remind you of the legend and talk about ways to feed the good wolf in order to live the good life.
Our kiddos are with the other parent this Thaknsgiving break, so Matthew and I decided to get away to the beach. This is the second time we have done this and it's been so much fun, we plan to bring the entire family with us next year. On today's episode, we talk about what it's like being at the beach during a colder month and then we get to know each other a little better with a Q&A session. We hope you enjoy and that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
In today's episode, I talk about how we can be our most authentic selves, and if we've forgotten what that feels like, how to get back there. We go through times in life where we slide into phases of inauthenticity in an attempt to fit a mold, please others or play a role. Some think conforming feels safer, but it's a false sense of security. Trying to be someone else takes an exorbitant amount of physical, mental and emotional energy. When we are inauthentic, we have trouble enjoying life, developing deep relationships and pursuing our passions. When we allow ourselves to fully be who we're meant to be, life becomes much easier and more joyful. We feel it and those around us feel it. I hope today's episode not only encourages you to be more authentic but also offers some practical strategies to get moving in that direction.
