Today Megan is continuing our study into Jonah with chapter 3 verses 6-10. From these verses, we learn that God can move the heart of ANYONE, and He can give mercy to every single person if they turn to Him. Those who put their trust in God will NOT be put to shame. We see the people of Nineveh repenting, not even knowing if God will show mercy. How much more should we obey God out of the thankful heart knowing we are forgiven and saved?

Why we should even surrender? What does it mean to fully surrender to Christ? Today we are continuing our study into Jonah with Jonah 3:1-5. In this chapter, Jonah is called to call out the Ninevites on their sin so that they can repent. Although it was a scary step, Jonah took this step of obedience. In these verses, we learn that God is not intimated by anything - he knows who He is, and no one or nothing is too great for God. Sometimes we get intimated to step out in obedience, but God is never afraid. Jonah is faithful to follow what God has asked of Him, no matter how big or scary it was.
