Today's episode touches on the beliefs I have struggled with since my husband's death in August of 2024.  Beliefs like "I'm not strong enough" or "No one wants to hear this aka I'm a bother" or "the world is such a cruel place because it just keep going".  

Some of these I am working through or worked through in therapy.  Others I lean into spaces with other widows and some I grit my teeth and try to raw dog my way through.  There isn't a "right" way to grieve.  There is only you and grief and however that shows up is what your body, mind & heart need to walk through.

I've been MIA for a year.  This episode catches you up briefly on life and why I've stayed quiet for so long.  Going from wife to widow, from forever to never more. From hopes and dreams to survival.   2024 took everything I knew about myself and obliterated it.  2025 has become all about figuring out who I am without my person and what this life will become for my boys and I.  This has been the hardest thing we've ever navigated and if our story can help even one person not feel so alone then sharing the journey is worthwhile.
