Welcome to the Tribal Epidemiology Centers Podcast. Tribal Epidemiology Centers (commonly referred to as TECs) are housed in organizations that serve American Indian/Alaska Native tribal and urban communities.

Currently, there are 12 Tribal Epidemiology Centers (TECs) across the US that are focused on improving the health of American Indians and Alaska Natives throughout the United States. 

On this podcast, you'll hear from a variety of employees across each of the TECs, as they share their career journeys and their roles within the organization, as well as the programs that are offered through their specific TEC. They also share about the tribal communities that are supported by their TEC as well.

The content they share provides timeless value and insight into each of the organizations, their missions, and the great positive impact they are having in the tribal communities they serve.

In diesem Podcast versuchen wir einen ersten Eindruck davon zu vermitteln, was eine  Inobhutnahme ist. Dabei ist es uns ein Anliegen, die Themen so zu erklären, dass junge Menschen und Eltern die Informationen gut verstehen können. Falls uns das nicht immer gelingt, fragt bitte nach und holt euch möglichst Unterstützung von hilfreichen Ansprechpersonen oder Fachkräften.
Wir haben uns dafür entschieden in diesem Podcast keine betroffenen junge Menschen und  Eltern zu interviewen, weil sie sich zum einen in einer meist belasteten Situation befinden und zum anderen, weil es datenschutzrechtlich sehr kompliziert ist, solche Interviews in einem Podcast zu veröffentlichen.
Stattdessen haben wir spannende Gesprächspartner*innen gefunden, die euch die Themen rund um die Inobhutnahme näherbringen. Wir wünschen euch anregende Episoden und freuen uns über eure Rückmeldungen.

Der Podcast ist im Rahmen des Praxisforschungsprojektes „Inobhutnahme – Perspektiven: Impulse!“ entstanden. Das Projekt wurde in Kooperation mit der Internationalen Gesellschaft für erzieherische Hilfen e.V. (IGfH) durchgeführt und von der Stiftung Deutsche Jugendmarke gefördert.

Named for George Fraser's famous technique, The Dissociative Table is a forum for leaders in the field of complex trauma treatment to share innovations and insights regarding theory and application. Synthesis of effective modalities is a major focus, as is the development of narrative meaning as a healing objective beyond symptom relief.

TDT does not specifically endorse any modalities or schools of thought; however, many of the hosts and guests are connected to the EMDR Institute and the larger EMDRIA community. Content is not endorsed by the EMDR Institute or EMDRIA.
