Klara Svalin är forskare i kriminologi vid Malmö Högskola. Hennes avhandling handlar om polisens riskbedömningar för upprepat våld i nära relationer. Avhandlingen visar att träffsäkerheten i polisens riskbedömningar för upprepat våld är låg, bara något bättre än slumpen.   Genom en uppochnedvänd tratt lyssnar Madame Eli på våldsutsattas berättelser vilket får henne att skriva en text om dragkampen mellan att gå tillbaka och att lämna för gott.

On August 2, 2016, Shawn Lucas was found dead by his girlfriend, Savannah King, in their apartment one month after serving the DNC with a class-action lawsuit. The class action lawsuit, spearheaded by lawyers at the Beck & Lee law firm, claimed that the DNC was rigged in favor of Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders. 
 Shawn's cause of death was listed as a combined adverse effects of fentanyl, cyclobenzaprine, and kratom. However, Savannah believes that the autopsy report was tampered with and false. For instance, it failed to mentioned the large gash on top of Shawn's head and other anomalies that she discovered on his body. 
 The timing of Shawn's death is also suspicious as it aligns with a large payment made from the DNC to the private security firm, Crowdstrike. The day after Shawn's death, Crowdstrike received a large payment from the DNC. Crowdstrike received a similar large payment exactly one day after Seth Rich's death as well. 
 Something's not adding up here!

DNC data analyst Seth Rich was murdered two weeks before the 2016 Democratic National Convention. Rumor had it that Seth Rich was the source who hacked the DNC servers and provided Wikileaks with all of the DNC emails. Therefore, the reason he was murdered was to prevent the information from coming out. 
 The Seth Rich Wikileaks connection was just speculation for many years and it led to many lawsuits started by the Rich family and turncoat investigators against anyone claiming Seth Rich hacked the DNC servers. The FBI claimed Russia hacked the DNC servers, but SOLEY relied on independent forensic analysis from the third-party, Crowdstrike. The FBI claimed for YEARS that it had no information pertaining to Seth Rich. 
 However, thanks to several persistent FOIA requests by attorney Ty Clevenger and Brian Huddleston, the FBI revealed it had over 20,000 pages on Seth Rich and even contained contents from Seth Rich's laptops! This story is filled with twists and turns, so check it out!

How many people do you personally know that have been beaten to death, murdered in a hail of bullets, died in mountain biking accidents, skiing collisions, plane crashes, or even had barbells crush their throat?! 
 Welcome to the first episode of the Clinton Body Count Series, where I will be diving deep into each of the oddest deaths surrounding the Clinton family. On this episode, I will be focusing on the mysterious suicide of ABC news reporter, Christopher Sign. 
 Christopher Sign broke the story about the infamous 2016 “tarmac meeting” between former President Bill Clinton and then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch, where Clinton surreptitiously boarded Lynch's DOJ plane and held a discussion for 20 minutes. It was suspected that Clinton boarded the plane to negotiate dropping the ongoing investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails. This is because, one week after the meeting, the DOJ dropped the investigation into Hillary Clinton! 
 Christopher Sign wrote a book detailing the oddities of this event and disclosed that this was a PLANNED meeting. Before his death, Sign reported that he and his family received death threats for disclosing this information. Sign was happy and loved his family, so why would he kill himself? Who benefited from Sign's death?

Abby and Patrick welcome scholar and literary critic Rebecca Ariel Porte of Dilettante Army and the Brooklyn Institute for Social Research to talk about the key Freudian concept of the pleasure principle. Starting with Freud’s 1911 essay, “Formulations Regarding Two Principles of Mental Functioning,” Rebecca, Abby, and Patrick probe the complicated question of what, exactly “pleasure” (German: Lust) means for Freud. At the end of the day, is “pleasure” simply the avoidance of pain, relative movement along a stimulus gradient, an object towards which we turn reflexively like sunflowers towards the sun, or something else? How does Freud’s notion of pleasure relate, on the one hand, to its apparent opposite, AKA “unpleasure” (German: Unlust), and to the “reality principle” on the other? What is the status and function of the different ways we imagine pleasure and find pleasure in imagining, from daydreams to fantasies to “hallucinatory satisfactions” in general? Plus: what Freud’s theories of pleasure miss and other analytic thinkers don’t (with reference to Heinz Kohut and Melanie Klein); the relationship between ego instincts and sexual instincts; flights into illness and the meanings of neurosis; and a reading of an incredibly Freudian sequence in Milton’s Paradise Lost!

54: Wild Analysis: Challengers Teaser

Patrick and Abby welcome politics professor Kevin Duong to discuss his research on the history of the Lafargue Clinic (1946-1958), an experiment in radical psychoanalysis aimed at providing free care to marginalized community members in the Harlem neighborhood of New York City. Bringing together American notables like Richard Wright and Ralph Ellison alongside a colorful array of expatriate European clinicians, including antifascist partisans and refugees, the clinic sought to fuse Freud’s calls for “psychotherapy for the people” with a Marxist attention to the material dimensions of suffering. Duong walks Abby and Patrick through how the clinic functioned and what therapy there was like, from group analysis of children at play to evening seminars in which everyone involved with the clinic worked with a consenting patient to explore their distress. They also unpack the clinic’s theoretical contributions, from the notion of “class unconsciousness” to “social neurosis,” and the implications of its work on our ideas about transference, scarcity, and abundance; the ways in which authority is constituted in both therapy and social movements; how organizing and therapy relate to the recognition of suffering and the realization of desires; the Cold War, contemporary memory, the repressed histories of radical psychoanalysis and what it would mean to “repeat with a difference”; and more.

法國西南部產酒區  世界遺產Saint-Émilion (二)

1787 年時愛爾蘭裔的Abraham Lawton及第三任美國總統Thomas Jefferson（1743－1826）曾將酒莊分級。然而，第一個將葡萄酒莊官方分級的是由拿破崙三世（Napoléon III, 1808－1873）下令，為1855 年巴黎的萬國博覽會而制定。  1855年的分級（classé）共57紅葡萄酒莊： 4 個一級（Premiers crus） 12 個二級（Second Crus） 14 個三級（Troisième Crus） 11 個四級（Quatrième Crus） 16 個五級（Cinquième Crus）  現今分級共61 個紅葡萄酒莊： 5 個一級 14 個二級 14 個三級 10 個四級 18 個五級  一級酒莊 （Premiers crus）： 1.
