Victoria Simmonds music has been influenced by Brit Pop, Folk, Country, and Musical Theatre, Victoria has been compared to the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Carole King and Alanis Morrissette. Her new single "Last Dance in the Rain" has thought provoking lyrics, about the loss of someone due to symptoms that effect memory and evokes intense emotions for people diagnosed with dementia, as well as their friends and family, who see the changes. It tells the story of the loss of the mind before the body and the hope that although they are not with us in mind the hope that they are happy, dancing in the rain.
