Rosemarie Griffin, MA, CCC/SLP BCBA, is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and Product Developer. She divides her time between a public school and her own private practice, ABA SPEECH. She is passionate about helping individuals with autism find their voice and become more independent communicators. About Belinda V. Givens MA, CCC-SLP

Belinda has been an American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) certified Speech-Language Pathologist for 14 years. She has spent the past five years working as a teletherapist with school-aged children. She is a member of ASHA’s Special Interest Group for Telepractice (SIG 18) and is a proud recipient of ASHA’s ACE Award for 2019. 

Belinda earned her M.A. from the University of Central Florida and obtained an endorsement in Reading while studying for her master’s degree. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Education from Florida State University. She is the creator and owner of BVG SLP, which specializes in creating digital speech, language, and literacy resources for use within teletherapy platforms or face-to-face therapy. She is passionate about literacy and has written three children’s books. When she is not working, Belinda is the mother of three amazing young boys and the proud wife to her awesome husband. She currently resides with her family in Central Florida.

About Tera Sumpter MA, CCC-SLP

Tera Sumpter, M.A., CCC-SLP, is the founder of Seeds of Learning, LLC, in Lakewood, Ohio which specializes in executive functioning, reading, and other pediatric learning disabilities. She also has experience as a medical speech-language pathologist in both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings. A former adjunct instructor of Anatomy and Physiology of the Speech and Hearing Mechanism in the Cleveland State University's Speech and Hearing Program, Tera currently presents her integrative cognitive processing and executive functioning model internationally to speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists, audiologists, inpatient and outpatient clinical therapists, school districts, and parent groups.

About Allison Larson MS, CCC-SLP & Iris Snow MS, CCC-SLP

Allison has worked in public schools, private clinics, and a skilled nursing facility. Her passion is working with adolescents and young adults and helping them transition to the workforce and adult life. She has worked in a high school setting for 15 years and a post-secondary setting for six years. 

Iris is a bilingual SLP who has worked in Acute Care, a Children’s Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Hospital, Early Intervention, and currently works at a world-renowned Rehabilitation Hospital that specializes in traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injuries.

About Dr. Susan Lockwood Roberts, Ed.D.

Dr. Susan Lockwood Roberts retired from the Indiana Department of Correction in 2017, where she was the Director of Juvenile Education for twelve years.  Prior to that she taught in the public schools of central Indiana for seventeen years. 

In addition to being the Past-President of the Executive Board of the Correctional Education Association, she has published numerous peer-reviewed research articles, along with a book, "Kicked to the Curb: Where Policy Has Failed Our Most Vulnerable Youth and the Fight for a Better Tomorrow."  

She is an adjunct faculty member at the School of Education at Indiana University, has served as a court-appointed expert for special education-related litigation and has been an invited speaker at many state, national, and international events.  She currently owns Nexus Point Consulting and lives in Columbus, Indiana.

About Dr. Amanda Blackwell, SLPD, CCC-SLP

Since volunteering in 2013 as a speech-language pathologist at an orphanage in Guatemala, Dr. Amanda Blackwell has been living and working full-time in the country. Amanda completed a Clinical Doctorate in speech-language pathology and started the official professional association for local Guatemalan speech therapists (SomosTLgt), which has offered more than 150 continuing education hours over the past year to its members to strengthen the understanding and implementation of concepts like EBP and AAC in the country.

In January 2020, she began working toward a Doctor of Education degree at Murray State University with the goal of opening a university for allied health professions in Guatemala to improve the quality of services across the country. She currently directs the speech therapy departments at FUNDAL (for individuals with deafblindness and multiple disabilities) and the Guatemalan Association of Down Syndrome in Guatemala City and Xela, provides teletherapy services for public school students in the United States, runs an autism education social project for Spanish speakers called LUNA (@lunautismo), and is part of the ASHA-PAHO ad hoc committee for Ecuador. 

Amanda serves as an adjunct research fellow working with five doctoral students in the SLPD program at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah, and will be teaching in the masters of autism studies and masters of speech-language pathology programs as an adjunct professor at Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana beginning in the summer of 2021. She is a life-long learner herself and loves providing dynamic training on various topics to school districts and SLPs around the world.

About Kacy Wickerson MA, CCC-SLP

Kacy Wickerson (of “KlassicKacy” on YouTube) is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and Owner/CEO of Teach Speech LLC. During the second semester of her first year in grad school, she decided to pick up a camera and start telling her story. She created her YouTube channel “KlassicKacy” with hopes of connecting with her SLP community and inspiring SLPToBe’s to keep pushing through their journey.  

Through her practice Teach Speech, she’s helped hundreds of parents understand communication development, why it is important, and how they can take an active role in improving communication under their own roof. 

She does this through Teach Speech courses, and her signature intimate coaching programs that offer guided support for parents to strengthen the child’s speech and language skills right in the comfort of their own home.
