If there's one thing millenials love doing, it's adding the word *functional* in front of scary words to make them less harsh. This week we're prepping for the inevitable marathon panic attack also known as the holiday season by learning about a cute little trauma response that we may or may not have adopted after years and years of being forced to work while experiencing global agony. I don't think this is what Darwin meant when he studied survival. The bar for the "fittest" is looking pretty low and pretty frozen these days.
