If youâve ever felt stuck in patterns you canât seem to break, you arenât alone. This Christian meditation podcast offers space for Bible meditation, scripture reflection, and faithâbased guided prayer.
This series is shaped by the twelve stepsâa timeâtested path to spiritual healing and transformationâbecause we all have hurts, habits, or hangups that hold us back. Whether or not you consider yourself an addict, these meditations are for you.
We all long for lives characterized by freedomâlives rooted and grounded in God and His goodness. But the truth is, we all struggle. Step One helps us admit what we feel but donât want to name: we are powerless over our deepest problems and our lives can become unmanageable. That honest admission isnât despair; itâs the threshold of graceâthe place we discover that while we canât, God can. And He wants to.
In todayâs meditation, we sit with Romans 7:21â25, where Paul wrestles with the push and pull we all knowâthe desire to follow God and the struggle with sin. Youâll be guided to listen, reflect, respond, and rest, opening your heart to the healing and wholeness God wants to bring.

Here's todays meditation Scripture: Romans 7:21â25 (NLT)
I have discovered this principle of lifeâthat when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong. I love Godâs law with all my heart. But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me.
Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death?Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey Godâs law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin.

In this final meditation of the Fully Known, Fully Loved series, we return to the very heart of the gospel: Godâs love.
Through the familiar but powerful words of John 3:16â18âread from The Messageâweâre reminded that God didnât send Jesus to accuse or condemn, but to rescue. To restore. To love.
Whether youâve known Jesus for decades or are still exploring what faith means, this meditation invites you to slow down and let the truth of Godâs extravagant love settle deeply into your soul.
In this guided Christian meditation, youâll be invited to:
⢠Reflect on how you first came to know Jesus
⢠Thank God for the people who led you to Him
⢠Lift up someone youâre praying for who doesnât yet know Christ
⢠Rest in the truth that you are fully known and still fully loved
Let the words of this passage remind you:
God loves you deeply, completely, and eternally.

Meditation Passage:
John 3:16â18, The Message Translation
This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.
God didnât go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again.
Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that personâs failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him.

This meditation is a space to settle into that truth.

⢠Notice how Jesus is caring for you right now
⢠Reflect on what it means to be known by Him
⢠Rest in the security of His voice and His love
Let this be a moment to reconnect with the Shepherd who calls you by nameâand who promises that no one can snatch you from His hand.

Meditation Text:
John 10:11-15, 27-28, NLT
11Â âI am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep. 12Â A hired hand will run when he sees a wolf coming. He will abandon the sheep because they donât belong to him and he isnât their shepherd. And so the wolf attacks them and scatters the flock. 13Â The hired hand runs away because heâs working only for the money and doesnât really care about the sheep.
14Â âI am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me, 15Â just as my Father knows me and I know the Father. So I sacrifice my life for the sheep.
27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me.

Meditation Passage
Isaiah 43:1â3 & 5, NET
1 Now, this is what the LORD says,
the one who created you, O Jacob,
and formed you, O Israel:
âDonât be afraid, for I will protect you.
I call you by name, you are mine.
2 When you pass through the waters, I am with you;
when you pass through the streams, they will not overwhelm you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned;
the flames will not harm you.
3 For I am the LORD your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your deliverer.
5 Donât be afraid, for I am with you.
From the east I will bring your descendants;
from the west I will gather you.

In this guided Scripture meditation on Psalm 56:8â11, youâll be invited to rest in the truth that God sees your sorrow, hears your cries, and is on your side.
Life doesnât always feel that wayâespecially when weâre walking through grief, longing, or fear. But Psalm 56 reminds us that every tear you cry is noticed, collected, and remembered by the God who loves you.
And not only does He see youâHe is with you.
Through the practice of Lectio Divina, weâll reflect on this short but powerful Psalm of trust, written by David in the middle of deep distress. Youâll be guided to:
This is a quiet space to be honest with Godâand let Him gently meet you in it.

Todayâs Meditation Passage:
Psalm 56:8â11, NLT
8 You keep track of all my sorrows.
You have collected all my tears in your bottle.
You have recorded each one in your book.
9 My enemies will retreat when I call to you for help.
This I know: God is on my side!
10 I praise God for what he has promised;
Yes, I praise the LORD for what he has promised.
11 I trust in God, so why should I be afraid?
What can mere mortals do to me?

Psalm 139:19â24 (NLT)
19 O God, if only you would destroy the wicked!
Get out of my life, you murderers!
20 They blaspheme you;
your enemies misuse your name.
21 O LORD, shouldnât I hate those who hate you?
Shouldnât I despise those who oppose you?
22 Yes, I hate them with total hatred,
for your enemies are my enemies.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 Point out anything in me that offends you,
and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

Psalm 139:13â18 (NLT)
13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my motherâs womb.
14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelousâhow well I know it.
15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,
as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
16 You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out
before a single day had passed.
17 How precious are your thoughts about me, O God.
They cannot be numbered!
18 I canât even count them;
they outnumber the grains of sand!
And when I wake up,
you are still with me!

Psalm 139:7â12 (NLT)
7 I can never escape from your Spirit!
I can never get away from your presence!
8 If I go up to heaven, you are there;
if I go down to the grave, you are there.
9 If I ride the wings of the morning,
if I dwell by the farthest oceans,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
and your strength will support me.
11 I could ask the darkness to hide me
and the light around me to become nightâ
12 but even in darkness I cannot hide from you.
To you the night shines as bright as day.
Darkness and light are the same to you.

Meditation Passage | Romans 12:1â2 (CSB):
Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God,
I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship. Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.
