One of the UK's most respected broadcasters Mishal Husain joins me this week, to talk about her fear of something going wrong on air. Mishal has fronted everything from BBC evening new bulletins to leadership election debates, and in 2013, she became the first ethnic minority presenter of radio 4's flagship Today programme. As well as her work in radio and TV, Mishal has written a book, The Skills, which is a practical guide to help women realise their professional ambitions.

Mishal always seems so confident on air, so I was curious to know if she ever experiences doubt and how she deals with her fear in high pressured situations. We discuss how preparation and breaking things down helps her, dealing with scrutiny, and what influence her parents had on her.
