In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about Alex and Sergey Ovechkin at the all-star game. Alex Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby working together at the all-star game. Dan then talks about the recent reports the NHL viewership is down with the second year of the ESPN deal. It's Dan's belief that it has to do with blackout restrictions and trying to determine what platform if any your team will be playing on. Later Dan talks about the new 3-year deal that Sonny Milano signed with the Capitals. The Caps signed Sonny to a league minimum deal with they signed him after he got released from a PTO from the Flames. The three year deal with help the Caps for years to come. To close the show Dan talks about the new deal with Dylan Strome. Strome signed a one year deal in the off-season as sort of a prove me deal after the Blackhawks didn't offer him a qualifying offer. Dylan was brought in to fill the void that Nick Backstrom left when he had a hip-resurfacing procedure done. Dylan is a solid re-signing being that he can play center or wing.
