Sooner State of Mind

On this episode of Sooner State of Mind we're taking the show on the road to Provo Utah for the first time as the BYU Cougars host our Oklahoma Sooners. The Sooners have never beaten the Cougs but have only played them twice. The last of which still leaves a painful memory. Hopefully the Sooners can extract their revenge in the name of Sam Bradford. The Sooners are still on the outside looking in at the Big 12 Championship, but there is lots of football left to be played and we can get by and in with a little help from our friends. We also take a look at some of the best games of Week 12 of the college football season. All that and more! On this episode of Sooner State of Mind we celebrate as the Country Roads took us back to victory. The Oklahoma Sooners rolled the West Virginia Mountaineers 52-20. It was not only a much needed win for the Sooners, it was also a much improved Sooners team too. OU came out and punished West Virginia and dominated in almost every facet of the game. With a little help from our Big 12 friends, we might be able to get back into one last Big 12 Championship. If not, it still feels good to totally dominate a game from start to finish. Speaking of dominating, Dillon Gabriel and Drake Stoops both had a dominating performance. We will check in with both. We also recap some of the best games of Week 11 of the college football season. All that and more! It's time to get into a Sooner State of Mind! footballdudesla footballdudeslaIG footballdudesfacebook

On this episode of Sooner State of Mind we look back in disbelief as the Sooners lose the final chapter of Bedlam in the Big 12 going down to the Oklahoma State Cowboys 27-24. It's not that the Sooners lost, it's how they lost. The Pokes got a major gift from the officials in this one. A non-call on a blatant pass interference will go down as a huge determining factor on how the game was won or lost. The Sooners definitely made mistakes but the biggest mistake would come via the officiating crew as they sat with whistles in mouths and flags in hand but refused to use either at the biggest moment in the game.In doing so they rob the Sooners of the opportunity of hanging one more Big 12 Championship Banner. I am sure no one outside of Norman will care, but emotions are still raw as dreams and expectations will go unfulfilled. We also recap some of the best games of Week 10 of the college football season. All that and more! On this episode of Sooner State of Mind we take our show up the road to Stillwater for the last Big 12 version of Bedlam as the 7-1 Oklahoma Sooners visit the 6-2 Oklahoma State Cowboys. While OU has dominated this series, you can never count out Mike Gundy and the Pokes. Always getting up in our business at the wrong time. Stakes couldn't be higher as the Big 12 and a CFP birth are still up for grabs. The winner gets eternal bragging rights. The Sooners took those from Texas and would love to do the same to little brother. The bad blood will be boiling over in this one. We also take a look at some of the best games of Week 10 of the college football season. All that and more!
