On this episode of Sooner State of Mind we celebrate as the Country Roads took us back to victory. The Oklahoma Sooners rolled the West Virginia Mountaineers 52-20. It was not only a much needed win for the Sooners, it was also a much improved Sooners team too. OU came out and punished West Virginia and dominated in almost every facet of the game. With a little help from our Big 12 friends, we might be able to get back into one last Big 12 Championship. If not, it still feels good to totally dominate a game from start to finish. On this episode of Sooner State of Mind we look back in disbelief as the Sooners lose the final chapter of Bedlam in the Big 12 going down to the Oklahoma State Cowboys 27-24. It's not that the Sooners lost, it's how they lost. The Pokes got a major gift from the officials in this one. A non-call on a blatant pass interference will go down as a huge determining factor on how the game was won or lost. The Sooners definitely made mistakes but the biggest mistake would come via the officiating crew as they sat with whistles in mouths and flags in hand but refused to use either at the biggest moment in the game.In doing so they rob the Sooners of the opportunity of hanging one more Big 12 Championship Banner.
