On this episode of Sooner State of Mind we celebrate our first road trip to Provo, Utah with a nail biting 31-24 win over the BYU Cougars. This game was a lot closer and tougher than most expected going in to it. The Sooners were tested time and time again, but when the moment was the biggest the Sooners had players step up into the spotlight and help keep OU's Big 12 Championship Game dreams alive. Billy Bowman had the biggest play of the day with a 100 yard pick 6 that would give OU a lead and help propel them to victory. Unfortunately we didn't get the help we needed from our conference brethren but with one week left in the regular season, our dream remains alive. With the short holiday week, we will get an early start at previewing the Sooners final home game against TCU. This is gonna be a good one and is a must win for an opportunity to chase OU's 15th and final Big 12 title.
