When you consistently think negatively, it can create a heightened sense of tension and anxiety in the body, which can lead to physical symptoms such as headaches, muscle tension, and fatigue. Over time, these physical symptoms can become chronic, leading to a state of burnout and overwhelm.
In this week's episode I'll be diving into the Catch, Check, Change technique, a powerful tool used in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This technique involves catching negative or unhelpful thoughts, checking the validity of those thoughts, and then making changes to them in order to improve your mental well-being.I'll be walking you through the steps of Catch, Check, Change and explain how it can be used in everyday life to combat negative thinking patterns and improve overall mental health.
The Soul Simple Life Podcast is hosted by Lottie Louise - I'm a simplicity and overwhelm coach and mentor in the UK. My mission is to help you beat overwhelm and prevent burnout with simple hacks and processes, so you can stop wasting your energy on feeling overwhelmed and start using it to become more successful, joyful and soulful.
I'll be in your ears each week with a NEW episode. I share both coaching episodes, where you can do a bit of what I like to call 'self-assisted coaching' - I'm there to support you through how to do it, but you keep yourself accountable for actually doing it. Then I'll also be sharing some shorter episodes with simple life hacks. These are the sorts of hacks to help you with all areas of life, to make things less overwhelming and more simple. If you want to continue the conversation, you'll find me over on Instagram @soul_simple_life.
