Description: On this episode I am joined by Mollie Romano, a professor and Assistant Director of the Communication and Early Childhood Research and Practice Center at Florida State University. Her research focuses on caregiver implemented interventions to support the development of infants and toddlers with disabilities and those at risk for delays, professional development approaches for early childhood providers, and interventions that target pre-linguistic communication skills.

On this episode I am joined by Rebecca Taskin, a licensed New York City based speech and language pathologist with a background in neuroscience. She specializes in complex feeding and communication disorders. Aside from her many AAC trainings, Rebecca has been trained in PROMPT Therapy, Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders, Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES), and is currently starting a TVI program at Hunter College in the Fall. She specializes in AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and provides evaluation and assessment for assistive technology and speech generating devices for children with complex disorders including children with CVI (cortical visual impairment).

On this episode I am joined by Megan Stewart, a Speech and Language Pathologist that is passionate about literacy and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She firmly believes that ALL kids, no matter what, should have access to amazing reading, writing and literacy experiences! This passion led her to start the SENSEable Literacy blog and YouTube channel.

On this episode I am joined by two amazing AAC SLPs, Maggie and Jeanna! These ladies are making a huge impact in their community and across the field of AAC by providing school-based AAC & assistive technology consultations, evaluations, therapy, and trainings at local and national events.
