In the last few weeks, many of you have shared how much you loved praying for our kids together the last few years. I have loved that too, and I’m so happy my friend Courtney DeFeo is continuing that legacy on Pardon the Mess. Be sure to check it out!
Â
But I feel strongly that my calling this year is to help us very intentionally consider our spiritual rhythms. Why? Because our culture desperately needs us, as Christians, to live out our faith in tangible ways every single day. And those faith-inspired moments come from the behind-the scenes time we spend in prayer, worship, and yes . . . reading our Bible.
Â
So today we’re talking about how to read our Bible. There’s no way a 15-minute podcast can completely cover this subject, but we’re going to walk through the do’s and don’ts today as well as look at a portion of John 1.Â
Â
Let’s be honest, the right way to read the Bible is however it works for you. That being said, many of us (myself included) need to habit ourselves into a routine that includes hearing from God through his word. (Did you catch my Atomic Habits reference there?)Â
Â
That’s why I hope you’ll take a few minutes to listen today. Grateful for you!
Â
P.S. Many of you have asked how to support MESSmerized in this season. A great way is to share this podcast with your friends and help grow it by word of mouth. Another huge way is to leave a review wherever you listen to MESSmerized. Lastly, you can also provide support through our Patreon to help us with production and other related costs. Thank you for being a part of this ministry!Â
