Mikael Granlund’s game winner in overtime gives Dallas a 4-3 win against the Anaheim Ducks. Host Gavin Spittle explains why this was a huge win for the Stars. Thomas Harley had a massive game with a goal and two assists. Gavin says Miro Heiskanen needs to be 100% or he doesn’t play in the first round of the playoffs because you have to look at the future for Dallas next season and how you don’t want to start the 2026 season with Miro hurt. He addresses the penalties and what Matt Duchene had to say in postgame about how they need to clean up those penalties. He wraps by going through tweets sent in by listeners.
The Stars lose to Winnipeg 4-1 Friday night. Host Gavin Spittle opens up with the way the playoff format used to be and how it would benefit the Stars better if the playoffs were set up the way they used to be. As hockey fans doubt Connor Hellebuyck in the playoffs, Gavin doesn’t want Dallas to face the Jets. They have the Stars number and have dominated the entire league. He goes through how efficient Winnipeg’s offense was on the goals they scored and how the Stars defense just couldn’t keep up.

The guys discuss the Mikko Rantanen deal for the Dallas Stars and how it was nice for two weeks for the Jets to avoid him when he was in Carolina, but now he’s going to be in Dallas for the next 8 years. The guys look ahead at the playoffs and what kind of run Connor thinks Winnipeg can have. Connor warns the Stars to not take a penalty because this Jets power play has been really good. The narrative of Connor Hellebuyck not being able to win the big games is a narrative people in Winnipeg are tired of.
