The Stars defeat the Devils 4-3 after Tomas Harley’s game winner with five seconds left in the game. Host Gavin Spittle is joined by David Castillo from D Magazine to recap the game. The guys discuss the Stars bench lighting up for Ilya Lyubushkin goal, that ended a long scoring drought for him. The Stars were in command when it was 3-1 but they allowed New Jersey back into the game with penalties and power play goals for the Devils.

Wyatt Johnston nets a hat trick against the Blues in a 6-3 win for the Stars. Host Gavin Spittle talks about the heater Johnston has been on this season and the Stars offense clicking as of late with all the scoring. The Stars are 10-2-1 in their last 13 games. Despite the three goal win, Gavin points out how the Stars didn’t play their best hockey in this one but were the better team and Oettinger was the better goalie. Especially on the Blues breakaway that could have tied the game, Oettinger made a crucial save. Gavin then goes through the trade deadline trades over the weekend as we are less than a week away from the deadline.
The Stars had their first home game in 26 days and they didn’t disappoint after they defeated the LA Kings 6-2. Gavin talks about the power play being successful as they went 2 for 3. He talks about how good Thomas Harley has been and Jason Robertson recording his 25th goal of the season for the 4th year in a row. Gavin lists off some stats for the Stars for the accomplishments they have made. The Stars are on a hot streak and are separating themselves from the Minnesota Wild with a 6 point lead in the Central for second place. Gavin previews the upcoming game with the Blues for Sunday.
