The Stars had to play Scott Wedgewood in a back to back after Jake Oettinger was ruled out due to the flu. The Stars fell 3-2 to the Islanders in overtime. Gavin recaps the game and talks about the trade deadline and discusses some hypotheticals the Stars could make to bring someone over. He also looks at Scott Wedgewood’s future with the team after this year and thinks he will be going to a new team.
The Stars dominated the New Jersey Devils behind Scott Wedgewood’s dominant performance as he continues to put up good numbers against the Devils. The Stars now have 7 short handed goals on the season and they have allowed 7 shorthanded goals this season which Gavin thinks is pretty incredible. Gavin points out the great performances from the players that made an impact in the win and takes a look ahead to Sunday's game with the Islanders.

Gavin gives all the credit to Jake Oettinger despite a 5-1 loss to the Flyers. Despite giving up 5 goals, Gavin puts none of those goals on Oettinger and puts the blame on the guys in front of him on offense and defense.
