16th May and IPL controversy go hand in hand. SRK controversy happened on 16th May 2012. One year later same date, IPL’s biggest controversy broke out when Delhi Police arrested Sreesanth, Ajit Chandhila, Ankit Chavan after Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals match. This arrest was followed by the arrest of Mayyapan who was son in law of then BCCI supremo Srnivisan. The whole controversy kept getting headlines for considerable time to come. Aditya Joshi is telling us how this culminated into banning of 2 IPL franchises.
