Start your day the night before

Whether  you have a daily routine or not, this is a very tactical episode for you to take into consideration on your way to personal development.   If you are in a situation where you can not take notes and focus on today’s talk, please consider listening to this episode again, at a time where you can better sink in in its message.

The question Jake is launching in this episode is: “Why do we need to set up our day the night before?”  The system that Jake has in place and has decided to share with us focuses on 6 easy and simple steps summarized in the acronym SLEEPS.  

What does SLEEPS stand for?   In order to fully understand how the SLEEPS system works, you have to follow Jake’s advice on how to organize all the six steps so that you can enjoy the benefits.  Here they are:

S stands for Smile – represents the reflection of what happened during the day, identifying what was that one thing that made you smile.  

L stands for Learn – every day is an opportunity for learning new things and improving what we do and who we are.   

E stands for Exercise – the more you start guarding your workout time, the sooner you will reap the benefits of taking care of your body.  

E stands for Execute – plan out 3 objectives that you want to accomplish the second day and make sure you also include the 4th objective, which is a must and has to happen no matter what goes on that day.  These are tactical objectives that can make a difference in your schedule and your life.

P stands for Phone call – show gratitude in simple ways like calling someone or sending a message to thank them for a particular thing that mattered to you.  

S stands for Smile – identify the second objective or thing that made you smile at the end of the day.  Keeping a good attitude before going to bed, will also help you rest better.  

Start your day the night before by practicing the SLEEPS system and your day will look different straight from the start.
