I’m talking with you today about how to sell your services without feeling salesy or gross. As I teach more and more people to become coaches themselves, I’ve noticed that selling can be challenging for many. It can seem as though we are being inauthentic, but I’m here to help you shift your perspective on what selling truly means.
Selling for me is more than just a monetary exchange. It’s about offering solutions and transforming someone’s life and helping people accomplish things they didn’t even think were possible.
When it comes to selling, I abide by 3 major key principles:
- Be sold on your own offer
- Understand rejection is part of the process
- Listen and understand
People want to be sold your services because they are seeking solutions and transformations, so create offers that truly empower your clients. And remember: selling should not be about persuading, but about empowering people.
By following these 3 principles, you can be confident in selling with an authentic approach, knowing that you’re making a difference in people’s lives.
In this episode, we chat about:
- Why selling can be challenging
- The importance of being sold on your offer
- Understanding rejection and how to deal with it
- Taking the time to listen and understand your client’s needs
