A new episode of STtalks is live! 🎙 In this STtalks episode, we visit with Armand Lavoie, co-owner of Ferme Novum, a 400 head dairy farm in one of the most northern parts of Alberta, Canada. We discuss how the location of Ferme Novum creates challenges and opportunities and how technologies like genomic testing, embryo transfer and gender-sorted semen have elevated his herds genetics. These genetic investments also led to the creation of the balanced sire, UNIMOG.
