The flower in east wind exhales a tender light,  

香雾空蒙月转廊，

And spreads a fragrant mist when the moon turns away.  

只恐夜深花睡去，

I am afraid she would fall asleep at the dead of the night, 

故烧高烛照红妆。

A candle is lit to make her look fair as by day.
