We get together discussing our 2024 ins & outs, things the boys will start implementing in their life's for this year and things they are phasing out. Before we get into that, we touch on what our top moments were for 2023 from a personal and Sippers stand point. Lots of side stories in this one so enjoy the one hour of power.

To start off in 2024 the boys remenice on the 23rd of Decemeber where James ran 100ks to raise funds and awareness for the Mark Hughes Foundation. The highs, the lows and everything in-between is covered to give all the listeners an understanding on what was going through the brain of Butz throughout the 9 hours and 51 minutes of running completed. Along with this, we touch on the Christmas and New Years period - giving an insight on Butzys recovery filled with choccys and naps. As always, thank-you for listening!

The boys have got together for one of the last hurrahs before Butzy gets going on one of the greatest world tours we have seen. We have two main topics on this episode, the 8 weeks prior to John and Butzy linking up in Portugal is outlined to explain Butzys travelling endeavours. We discussed the different things he is doing, such as touch comps, MMA gyms and business meetings Dubai. The second half of the episode is talking about what SundaySippers is going to look like for the rest 2023, as we are both travelling for the second half of the year. This week on the SundaySipper programming we have a jam packed show of live giveaways, 70k run breakdowns and origin team reviews. Butzy ran 70k of the best last Fridaywhich constituted 7 hours of running, 15 energy gels and whole bunch of pavement pounded. You already know this podcast is built on previews and reviews so here we are with a DnM chat about a few lessons we've been hit with so far this year. It's the type of yarn you'd over hear by two blokes in a corner of a house party, "Nah I legit love you man". RAW, EMOTIONAL, POWERFUL. Get into ittttttt...........

LATER BO. BON VOYAGE. SAYONARA SUCKER. This week we welcome back Sippers prodigal son Dean Medved (also son of Glenn Lazarus). The big fella is leaving the nations capital for some novacastrian action (lattes and tattoos soon). To celebrate, or commemorate, we decided to draft our favourite things about Canberra. Some strong picks by Dean and Butz but John was left scratching his bald head at his own decisions as he failed to shine in the spotlight.

Deans been a huge part of the Sippers Faithful (tm) since day dot so we here at HQ would like to wish him all the best on his future endeavours. The red nut will forever have a spot on the couch for a yarn. BIG THINGS COMING.

HAVE THE BOYS LOST THEIR MARBLES. Monday night at 10:30pm the boys slide into their hokkas and pull on their big boy pants as they set out on a 50km run THROUGH THE NIGHT. They conquered 3 mountains with a combined elevation of almost 1000m, AYE?!?!?!? After 7 hours on the feet they finished the journey at the dawn service and paid respect to all that have served before us, lest we forget.

The boys come together after another memorable weekend of pushing themselves to the limit. We have just participated in the Canberra Marathon and we have come on to share our thoughts on the experience. It is great to have co-hosts like ourselves as we experience these type of things completely differently but also very similarly at the same time. The prep, the day, the run and the reflections are all part of this episode, we enjoyed talking about what has been an awesome start to the year and a great reflective pod to wrap it up
