Based around the concept of porting Japanese action shows into US markets by splicing footage of adult warriors onto teenage plots, Super Human Samurai Syber-Squad was one of many copy cats to follow the ‘Power Rangers’ formula. In the debut episode of ‘Why Did I Like It?’, “The Nefarious” Mike A Simms takes a look back at the pilot episode of this series to answer three questions: ‘Does the show hold up?’, ‘Does he still like the show?’ and, crucially, ‘Why did he like Super Human Samurai Syber-Squad?’
