Two different concepts that are quite opposite but end up completing each other very well, are Confidence and Humility. When it comes to being a coach or a mentor, it’s important to have the confidence to provide knowledge and results, but it’s also important to be open to accept that your knowledge and information may not be the best option for a specific client. Balance, in this situation, is the key.
In this episode of Take Care Radio, Danny takes you through this idea that we all have beliefs, blind spots, and biases that ultimately do not serve us or our clients. Identifying those and looking at things through a different lens, while changing our perspective and being mentally flexible, really helps us better our coaching practice, leading us to be more adaptable coaches and cooperative humans. Tune in!
“We all have our health, fitness, or coaching beliefs and foundations and this isn’t necessarily bad, this is a human trait. […] But they can be bad when they don’t lead us to success.” – Danny Coleman
