Simon Wright
AC/DC was a worldwide juggernaut when Simon Wright joined the band in
1983 at the young age of 20. After drumming on three AC/DC albums and
playing in front of massive audiences around the world, he left to join
Dio and, later, Rhino Bucket, UFO, Pat Travers and Operation Mindcrime,
among others. We caught up with him to discuss his star-studded career
and quickly learned to appreciate his humility and humor.

Chad Cherry
As the front man for The Last Vegas, Chad Cherry made his mark as one of
rock’s most charismatic lead singers (just ask Nikki Sixx, Alice Cooper
or Matt Sorum). Today, his appreciation for Jagger and Stewart is front
and center with The Claws, and his clothing line is worn by members of
the Alice Cooper band, pop star Pink and others. Join us as he recalls
touring arenas with Motley Crue, discovering horror movies and punk

John Gallagher
As one of the forerunners of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, Raven
influenced countless thrash and speed metal bands, including a
little-known Metallica who served as their opening act on the 1983
cross-country U.S. “Kill ‘Em All For One” tour. Bassist/vocalist John
Gallagher joins us to discuss the early years, his ongoing partnership
with his guitar-playing brother, his tricked-out bass guitars and what’s
next for Raven.

Owens to discuss his reunion with former Judas Priest band mate, K.K.
Downing, and their new album, “Sermons of the Sinner,” being released

Nigel Glockler
As the “engine room” who drives the battering beat of metal legends,
Saxon, drummer Nigel Glockler has a long and prolific history as a
master of his craft (he’s also one of the nicest and funniest guys in
all of rock, and an honorary Texan to boot!). Give a listen as we
discuss the latest Saxon news, his early days in Toyah, stints in GTR
and Asia, as well as a punching contest with Nikki Sixx and recording
with Elton John.

Danko Jones
His namesake power trio is fueled by the supercharged strut of KISS,
Thin Lizzy and AC/DC. Join us as blood-sweating rocker Danko Jones
discusses his upcoming new album; opening for Guns N’ Roses and the
Rolling Stones; recording with Broken Teeth; and befriending Voivod and
Duff McKagan.
Don Van Stavern
As the bass player for S.A. Slayer during the early 1980s, he earned his
crown as Texas metal royalty. From there, he moved on to Narita, Riot,
Pitbull Daycare, Evil United and Alcatrazz. Join us as we sit down with
Donnie Van Stavern to discuss the legendary Slayer vs. Slayer concert in
San Antonio, his “brotherhood” with Riot guitarist Mark Reale and the
meaning behind “coat on chest.”

Claudio Bergamin
Best-known as the artist behind Judas Priest’s “Firepower” album cover,
Claudio Bergamin has also done artwork for Rob Halford, Cassius King and
others. Have a listen as we learn how his early appreciation for KISS,
Iron Maiden and UFOs has inspired his fantasy and paranormal artwork.

Thommy Price
He was all over MTV in the early 1980s as the drummer for Scandal and
Billy Idol before finding a permanent home with Joan Jett for the past
three decades. His list of session work includes names like Roger
Daltrey, Ronnie Wood, Michael Monroe, Sylvain Sylvain, Blue Oyster Cult
and Wanda Jackson. Join us as we welcome one of rock’s most prolific
