Edmund Kemper, known as the “Co-Ed Killer,” murdered ten people—including his grandparents, mother, and six young women—in California between 1964 and 1973. Standing 6’9” and with a reported IQ of 145, Kemper committed his first murders at age 15 by killing his grandparents, then went on to target female hitchhikers, whom he strangled, stabbed, decapitated, and sometimes engaged in necrophilia or cannibalism.
