Talking Heads keyboardist and guitarist Jerry Harrison joins Kyle Meredith to talk about the 40th anniversary of Stop Making Sense, which not only just had a deluxe edition vinyl set released, but will see the Jonathan Demme film make its way back to theaters and IMAX thanks to a new deal with A24. Harrison tells us how the deal was made and what it took to get the four members back on stage for Q&As around the film, as well as the new Dolby Atmos remix, what he learned from Brian Eno in regards to technology in music, and the rehearsals behind the legendary performance. We also get to hear about why Talking Heads considered themselves one of the best bands in the world at their peak, how talking with the original members has been a healing process, why he doesn’t produce many artists any longer, and his upcoming projects, which includes a show about The Runarounds as a spinoff of The Outer Banks.
