In this episode, Anne Bland suggests a different, more "yin way", for men to experience pleasure based on receiving and surrendering. She discusses the different energy poles of the male and female genitalia and hearts and how they have impacted the way conventional sex is portrayed and understood in society. A man's genitalia being yang, it can be challenging for men to be a receiver of pleasure and because of the cultural conditioning it is easy to confuse the energies with the gender roles. Despite these issues, Anne claims that the way to a man's heart is, not through his stomach, but through his penis. This is based on the Taoist understanding of the different energy poles of the body. Finally, Anne suggests that a soft penetration can be extremely liberating and one of the most exquisite and loving experiences of pleasure because it balances the polar opposite genital energies.
