Guest: Karin Hartunian Koukeyan, MS, CCC-SLP - The conversational format explores the issues that pose barriers for pediatric and geriatric populations to access speech and language services in a clinic-based setting. Data will be presented on the impact of these barriers as a way of accessing services. Issues specific to implementing treatment approaches will be presented. The benefits of utilizing teletherapy with potential strategies in place will be discussed by analyzing specific patient profiles whose outcomes improved during the course of treatment.
