In this episode I connect with retired Law Enforcement Officer Adam Haidary. Adam served as a LEO in South Carolina U.S.A. for over seven years.
Join me as Adam, who is now thirty three years of age, reflects on how his service life impacted himself. Adam, much like many others, recognized the traumatic impacts of first responder work and the organizational challenges that existed within.
Adam eventually landed in a training role where he was asked to launch a fitness program for the men and women who also served. It was here that Adam began to research and realized the lack of support that existed for LEO's in this part of ongoing training. Adam began developing a program while still serving. Over a short time Adam realized that while he was passionate about policing a new challenge and opportunity existed in front of him. As a new father Adam embraced the fear of leaving policing in order to better serve the LEO community.
Adam retired and continued to develop a nationwide program for all first responders.
Still in its infancy, Effective Fitness, has already gained a major following. It is available online or by app and offers the following:
- Fitness and Mobility training
- Strength and Conditioning training
- Nutrition plans
- Rehabilitation programs specifically designed for knees, backs and shoulders
- Combatives training
To date Effective Fitness has donated over one million dollars worth of free training to Law Enforcement Agencies in North America and has built a truly incredibly community behind the program of LEO's helping LEO's.
Adam also has his sights set on ending human trafficking and raising awareness into this horrible crime that still impacts so many.
He has caught the attention of many, including Joe Rogan.
Incredibly proud of you Adam and what your team has created!
