The Texas Tech Athletic Director since 2011, Hocutt has done an exceptional job at creating visible progress around various athletic programs. He has also navigated six head coaches leaving the University on the basis of student-athlete abuse (five since 2020). Why hasn't there been more scrutiny of his tenure? Does Texas Tech have some sort of risk-reward scale pertaining to his employment? We look at Hocutt's best and worst of the past 12 years.
