Tactical Fitness Report 113 takes a different route this week. We are interviewing Phil Black (former Navy SEAL / Current Fire Fighter), creator of the FitDeck, and now http://www.prepwellacademy.com
Phil Black has had a long road of preparing for a variety of goal success. Starting as a high school athlete, he advanced to collegiate athletes and played basketball at Yale. He continued post graduate school at Harvard Business School and was hired by Goldman-Sachs. Seeking more challenges in life, he joined the Navy via OCS and graduated SEAL training - staying active for 5 years. As an entrepreneur he created the Fit Deck (https://fitdeck.com) and became a Fire Fighter. Yes - He was also on Shark Tank! How did he do all these things? You learned how to PREPARE!
Seeing a need in the college prep world, Phil started a training program for both parents and students on the process of preparing students for the pipeline of events required to achieve collegiate goals. Getting accepted in college, college athletics, Ivy League or other prestigious schools, ROTC, or service academies all require a long process of preparation. Phil knows how to do and teach it online through the Prep Well Academy. Check it out.
