The Activity Continues

This week talk about the most recent episode of The Dead Files “Chaos in the Canyon” (Season 15 Episode 8) which aired September 14, 2023.

We talk about birds we like and dislike, bourbon cream, and spooky shows and movies that we’re looking forward to. Join us also for a geography lesson where Megan learns what is South.

Remember, the only explanation is paranormal.

Another one we recorded in person, so the sound quality isn’t up to snuff. If you’re an audio engineer and know how to record three people in the same room please reach out. I've read up on it and tried everything!

Content Warning:

Toward the end we play bird calls. So don’t listen without headphones outdoors. Unless you want to be attacked by a dongle of turkeys.

We also talk about child death that took place in the episode.

This is a general content warning, many of the episodes of the TV show talk about murders, some even involving children. So that may come up in our conversation as well. So please proceed with that in mind. But if you already watch The Dead Files you’ll be prepared.

Also, while Amy and Steve's swears are bleeped on TV, ours are not.

The Activity Continues is a podcast where soul sisters, Amy and Megan usually chat about the TV show, The Dead Files. Our other soul sister Amy (AP) keeps us in check with facts, figures, and other fun things. We talk about pets, true crime, ghost stories, haunts, dreams, and other creepy paranormal shit and sometimes we interview really cool people. Whether it be a paranormal professional, a Dead Files client, or a friend with cool stories.

So, grab your beverage of choice, hop in the car, don’t worry, Steve’s driving, and join us when… The Activity Continues.

This episode was recorded on September 15, 2023, and released on September 21, 2023.

*Note, this one was recorded in person, so the sound is a little wonky in some spots. Shoutout to Adobe Enhance for making it sound a lot better than it was!*

This week we are bringing you more Listener Stories! We have two stories: AP’s friend Kevin tells a story about a stormy night in an old hunting lodge in South Dakota.

And new listener Eddie (Welcome Eddie!) tells us about his experiences in his sister’s apartment in an old home in Pittsburgh, PA. Both of the stories concern bathroom ghosts!

We also talked about Midwestern Goodbyes, the Minnesota State Fair aka The Great Minnesota Get Together, and overrated cookies. We ponder why ghosts turn lights on and off.

Content Warning:

We didn’t find anything we thought deserved a content warning, except that we use colorful language. Lots of “shit” talk.

This week we sat down with Kirsten Langston, an intuitive, tarot card reader, and medium.

Kirsten comes from a long line of gifted psychics and healers. Her unique skills allow her to fulfill her desire to help people, spread joy and make the world a better place. No matter what her medium, her goal is to spread knowledge, love, and joy as far and wide as she can.

A self-proclaimed Complete Weirdo, she is hilarious and has great stories, from the “Dog Shit Lady” to her “Bigfoot Situation”. She tells us about the time the spirit of Delores O’Riordan set her kitchen on fire. We’re pretty sure that after this you’ll want to join in on her Drunk Tarot readings.

This week we have a very special guest. Through our friend, Abductee Mary, we found a lovely Shaman! That’s right, in this episode we are talking to Leah Marie Evenstar who is a real-life Shaman. She’s also a psychic and a medium so we really hit the jackpot!

We had such a lovely conversation about many things like healing trauma, animal totems, full moon rituals and even dating apps. We also talked about the virtues of the Midwest, even though it’s stinkin’ hot here right now.

We had so much fun talking about all the above that we didn’t even get to her psychic abilities and mediumship. So we will definitely have her back on again.

She offers some amazing classes and events so please check out her website and sign up for something. Even if you’re not in the Twin Cities (MN, USA) area, as she does a lot of things via Zoom.

Who knew a Shaman could also serve as a life coach or therapist? She’s just a lovely human and I know you all will adore her as much as we do.
