This past week US producers were able to capture their highest on-farm soybean bids since June 2018. Is this a selling opportunity, or an indication of higher prices ahead? Today Chris and Duane discuss handling some of the best on-farm soybean bids since early summer 2018, vs possible implications from Phase One and the always important January USDA reports, due Jan 10. With just a little imagination, the corn/soy market world could look a lot different after Jan 10 than it does now. To some extent, the trade is guilty of not respecting the volatility potential of Jan 10. This report could have significant implications to 2019 inventory and 2020 opportunities.
